Review Policy

Thank you for taking the title to visit my blog! I am happy to read and review any book, from board books through to YA, but I prefer:
  • Tough Stuff
  • Dystopian fiction
  • Action/adventure
  • Fantasy/magic
  • Legends, mythology, and fables
I currently do not accept self-published authors (including those published on Amazon) or ebooks.

I am happy to accept F&Gs, manuscripts, ARCs, or finished copies. Due to my reading volume for work/reviews, I am unable to accept all review requests.

I am well-read in variety of genres and sub-genres. I like to stay on top of books in the media, including bestselling & North American award-winners for adults and children. I read approximately 2-3 novels per week and post reviews on this blog, as well as Goodreads, Amazon Canada, and LibraryThing. I post links to my book reviews on Twitter and Google+.

I try to post reviews within 3 weeks before or after the release date. All book summaries are pulled from the publisher's website, and clicking book title will direct visitors there.

I will always provide constructive and honest feedback, even when I don't fall in love with a book. Just because I don't love it, doesn't mean someone else won't. My goal is to provide readers with my thoughts, while also helping helping others (including parents and educators selecting books for younger and/or sensitive readers) to find books that will appeal to them.

The best way to get in touch with me about reviews is through email. I can be contacted at:
